Our mission

As turnkey contractor, we are responsible for the design and production of approximately 17 kilometers of double track in Uppsala. The assignment also includes foundations and ducting for approximately 22 stops, as well as bridges, rectifier stations, and other technical infrastructure, plus the reconstruction and new construction of streets, pedestrian and cycle paths, and public spaces in both existing and new city districts.

With the combined experience of NYAB and Azvi, the contract is being carried out in close collaboration with the municipality and the region in a complex urban environment, where ongoing traffic and high demands for structure, coordination, and responsible execution characterize the entire project.

For example, we work actively to reduce both carbon dioxide emissions and the impact on nature, wildlife, and water. The assignment shall also contribute to future competence within the industry, with the ambition to host around 100 interns during the course of the contract.

Together, NYAB and Azvi combine local presence, international experience, and strong expertise in infrastructure to build a long‑term solution that strengthens society.
